About Me
Hey I’m Coach Jess! I know it can be scary to take this step into your fitness journey, so let me start by sharing mine with you…
From a young age, around eight years old, I developed a passion for fitness, inspired by my aunt, a well-known fitness expert. I also struggled with body dysmorphia and weight gain, so I understand how it feels to not love the skin you’re in. During elementary and middle school, I lost weight by playing sports like tennis and soccer, and I discovered my talent for long-distance running, which led me to compete in college in 2016.
However, after experiencing several injuries during my running career, I developed a love for weight training. I battled a nerve injury, sciatica, for two years, which was caused by undereating and overtraining. Despite trying chiropractic care, steroid injections, and physical therapy, nothing seemed to work. Eventually, I was introduced to weight training for corrective exercise and injury prevention, and my injury gradually healed in under a year.
This journey sparked my passion for lifting, and after graduating college, I decided to pursue my certification in personal training and launch my online coaching business during COVID. Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve helped over 200 women reach their fitness goals and achieve the body they want. My ultimate goal is to educate women on how to sustainably reach and maintain their fitness goals through my program.
